In 2020 people have been severely challenged, especially women, as they have to adapt to the day-to-day, while pivoting to a new way of life, both at work and at home. Despite all odds, they are moving forward. At Linkage, we see these challenges as new opportunities to learn more about ourselves, to connect with others, to empathize with those around us and to prepare for the road ahead.

Through the 21st Women In Leadership Institute Conference – virtually available for the first time – we took the opportunity to help women figure out how to adopt, to evolve and innovate, and even reinvent themselves; empower them to grow in their leadership roles and to provide guidelines for their self-development.

More than 1,400 women leaders from all over the world, 60 exceptional women leaders from Greece and Cyprus attended the 21st Women In Leadership for a 2-week journey full of learning and discussion. Unique speeches from renowned world leaders, including Carla Harris, Allan Mullaly, Liz Wiseman, Molly Fletcher, Maria, Howard, Glennon Doyle and Soledad O’Brien, who talked about the 7 Hurdles women face in the workplace and how to overcome them – among other important issues.

The speeches were followed by a series of interactive, introspective and reflective workshops that included action plans. We are proud to have welcomed our first members of the WIL Greece & Cyprus Alumni, while staying connected and creating alliances brings us one step closer to greater achievements.

For Women in Leadership, chaos is another opportunity to apply leadership. For us, fear has no place on the success equation, as long as:

  • we conquer our Inner Critic and leverage our strengths
  • we stay authentic to who we are
  • we are clear to our vision
  • we add value to ourselves and others
  • we are well prepared and strategic about our goals
